No method, however unusual, should be excluded if it fits in with declarer's objective to make the contract. While it is true that South was notrumped into losing a club trick with West holding the heart dummy, it is a matter of fact that East led by killing the diamond return. Of course, East showed out on the first club lead from dummy, and South was assured three notrumps by going up with the ace and returning declarer's low club toward dummy's jack.
